We love new ways of looking at yoga and our practice. Over the years we have had an assortment of wonderful guests teach, perform and offer workshops at the studio.

Katie Gucer is a dream come true.  She has a dedicated practice and is a wealth of knowledge.  She teaches in the style of Baron Baptiste Power Flow Yoga.  She has taught classes and delved into some deep workshops taking us into places I only dreamt of as expressing the breath.  She has superior alignment and solid sequences.  Her workshops are master classes but she would rather them not called that. WE LOVE HER!

Jessica Aakre: Jessica completed her 200-hour YTT in 2017 at Dionne’s OM Yoga in Bemidji. She currently teaches a weekly Hatha/ Vinyasa flow yoga class in Fosston, MN, where she resides. Originally drawn to the practice of yoga for its ability to strengthen and tone the body; Jessica quickly realized how the practice of yoga integrates the mind, body, and spirit. Her yoga practice has helped her cultivate loving kindness and compassion, which she hopes to share with others.

Claire’s family has a cabin hidden away and her whole family is great to have at the studio.  Claire’s practice is beyond the mat. She find’s yoga asana (poses) and breath work some of the most beneficent ways to navigate through life. Her teaching and practice are inspired by integrative movement and poetry. Yoga has provided a place to explore and process light and shadow, while learning how to breathe through it all. Teaching has created the opening to be a guide and makes space for the becoming of herself and students, alike.

Emmy Josefson: I began my yoga journey when I was 16 at Paul Bunyan Kindergarten Center where they had evening yoga classes. From there, I used yoga to get me through college and two years of Peace Corps in Morocco. I used my yoga mat as my home away from home during this time because I traveled a lot and had a hard time staying in one place. My yoga mat always brought me back home. In 2014 I completed my 200 hour yoga certification at Wanderlust Yoga with Maha Yoga in Austin, Texas. Ben and Hilly Flores, my teachers taught me the foundations of Vinyasa Yoga. That summer I moved with my husband Josh to Doha Qatar where I continued to use my yoga mat as my roots and grounding force. After my first son was a year old I traveled to India and did a John Scott training at Purple Valley Yoga. Once I was pregnant with my third son I was determined to further my yoga training and completed my 300 hour yoga training with Yama Yoga where Valerie Jeremijenko taught me the foundations of Ashtanga Yoga. I am now growing roots in New Braunfels, Texas as a yoga teacher and stay at home mom with my three active beautiful boys. I have also been trained in Brahmani Yoga, Kids Yoga, Yoga Tune Up Balls, Yin Yoga and Breath Training with Max Strom. My passion is getting yoga to everyone. We live in a world of chaos and stress. We have the power to feel in control of our lives and I want to help you gain that power. My mantra is loka samastah sukhino bhavantu- may everyone be happy and free. I want to live in a world where we all feel happy and free inside our own bodies. The way I do this is through yoga.
